They look smaller in the advertisements so the size was a suprise. I'm yet to apply them, but i've seen the locking mechanism is good enough to stop a child from accessing a prohibited storage place or even the fridge.
Just make sure to clean the area first and make sure it's flat. Otherwise, the adhesive will come off easily.
