It seemed to me to be a tool of good quality and well-finished; I immediately tested it with male DuPont connectors that I crimped onto a 24AWG silicone-sheathed cable and onto a 28AWG silicone-insulated braid, folding the conductor back onto itself after stripping it. The crimping was done satisfactorily.
To make a good crimp, in addition to a precise tool, you need some experience and a good understanding of the tool and the crimping technique.
