I thought it was metal, but it's plastic. I didn't test it based on its appearance, but I believe it won't work. During adjustment, the sides don't move equally; one side has already locked in place while the other hasn't.

Not effective. There is no option to lock to a specific size. In the display for sale, it looks much better, looks like a very professional device. In reality, it's not worth the money.

Disappointing. i ordered and waited to open the back of my seiko watch. i had to use the smallest setting which should of gave the best chance at getting enough torque to open but it keeps moving. tried many times thought it was going to break because it seems a little flimsy but it just slips out. i see another one that uses three spots for a couple more dollars so let s see. if not off to the jewelers.

This tool works ok if the case back isn’t too tight, but not heavy duty enough to really wrench hard on a tight one. it just bends.
