Although it works, once you've sharpened a complete chain, it's no longer useful for sharpening the next one... so you have to throw it away and use another one.

These files are very good, they sharpen the chains well. They are very useful for speeding up the work.

Excellent product, I used them to file the chain of my chainsaw and they work wonderfully. Obviously, they require many passes, so they need to be installed on a Dremel; a drill or screwdriver won't do the job.
